ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,540,947, issued on Feb. 3, was assigned to Agilent Technologies Inc. (Santa Clara, Calif.).

"High throughput, fluorescence-based estimation of monoclonal antibody aggregation with disodium 3,3'-{[(E)-1,2-diphenyl-1,2-ethenediylbis(4,1-phenyleneoxy)}di (1-propanesulfonate) dye for superior sensitivity and specificity" was invented by Ravindra Gudihal (Singapore) and Brian Liau (Singapore).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The disclosure teaches a high-throughput, fluorescence-based assay for rapid, semi-quantitative estimation of high-molecular weight aggregation in mAb samples. The method rapidly estimates mAb aggregation."
