ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,359,077, issued on July 15, was assigned to Agfa NV (Mortsel, Belgium).
"Aqueous polymer particle dispersion" was invented by Fabienne Goethals (Mortsel, Belgium) and Freya Curinckx (Mortsel, Belgium).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An aqueous polymeric particle dispersion, the particle comprises a polymer and a Si-O-containing moiety, the Si-O-containing moiety is linked to the polymer. The polymeric particle dispersion can be incorporated in aqueous printing liquids such as aqueous inkjet inks."
The patent was filed on June 18, 2021, under Application No. 18/011,588.
