ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,421,359, issued on Sept. 23, was assigned to AGC INC. (Tokyo).

"Film" was invented by Hiroshi Aruga (Chiyoda-ku, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A film contains a fluororesin, a chromatic pigment, and a black pigment, in which a visible light transmittance of the film is from 5 to 60% and a haze value of the film is 30% or less."

The patent was filed on Dec. 27, 2022, under Application No. 18/146,604.
