ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,479,148, issued on Nov. 25, was assigned to AGC INC. (Tokyo).

"Film and method of producing the same" was invented by Hiroshi Aruga (Chiyoda-ku, Japan), Yoshiaki Higuchi (Chiyoda-ku, Japan), Yuya Horiguchi (Chiyoda-ku, Japan) and Junetsu Nakamura (Chiyoda-ku, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A film includes a copolymer having a tetrafluoroethylene-based unit and an ethylene-based unit, in which the film has a haze of from 1.2% to 8.0%, an ultraviolet reflectance of less than 17.0%, and a thickness of from 250 to 400 micro metre."

The patent was filed on Oct. 19, 2022, under Application No. 18/047,721.
