ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,241,038, issued on March 4, was assigned to Afton Chemical Corp. (Richmond, Va.).
"Polyalphaolefin phenols with high para-position selectivity" was invented by Xin Tian (Midlothian, Va.), Jason Bell (Powhatan, Va.) and Steven Anderson (Amelia Courthouse, Va.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure provides a detergent additives and methods for preparing a sulfurized alkyl phenate product from polyalphaolefins."
