ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,370,528, issued on July 29, was assigned to AEROJET ROCKETDYNE INC. (Melbourne, Fla.).

"Catalyst-containing material" was invented by Edward Wucherer (Woodinville, Wash.) and Benjamin Andrew Glassy (Kirkland, Wash.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A catalyst-containing material includes a refractory matrix and particles of one or more catalytic metal elements or catalytic oxides. The particles are dispersed through, and embedded in, the refractory matrix."

The patent was filed on Nov. 25, 2019, under Application No. 17/775,652.
