US Patent Issued to Aeorstar International on Sept. 30 for "Drogue deployment for lighter than air vehicle descent" (California Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,428,123, issued on Sept. 30, was assigned to Aeorstar International LLC (Sioux Falls, S.D.).

"Drogue deployment for lighter than air vehicle descent" was invented by Nicolas Bergeron (Mountain View, Calif.) and Adam French (Mountain View, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The technology relates to techniques for drogue deployment for a lighter than air (LTA) vehicle descent. A drogue deployment system for an LTA vehicle descent can include a drogue comprising a drogue parachute coupled to a carrier.
