ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,276,676, issued on April 15, was assigned to ADVANTEST Corp. (Tokyo).
"Test carrier and carrier assembling apparatus" was invented by Toshiyuki Kiyokawa (Tokyo) and Kazuya Ohtani (Tokyo).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A test carrier carried in a state of accommodating a device under test (DUT) includes: a carrier body that holds the DUT, and a lid member that covers the DUT and is attached to the carrier body. The carrier body has a first through-hole for positioning that is provided to face the DUT."
The patent was filed on Sept. 24, 2021, under Application No. 17/484,368.
