ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,460,512, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to Advantek Waste Management Services LLC (Houston).
"Injecting dissolved carbon dioxide into a subterranean formation" was invented by Omar Abou-Sayed (Houston).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method of sequestering carbon uses a mixed component gas that includes carbon dioxide, dissolves the carbon dioxide in a liquid under pressure, and pumps the resulting carbonated liquid into a subterranean formation."
The patent was filed on May 15, 2023, under Application No. 18/866,407.
