ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,455,831, issued on Oct. 28, was assigned to Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (Santa Clara, Calif.).
"Address translation service management" was invented by Anthony Thomas Gutierrez (Seattle).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Address translation service management techniques are described. These techniques are based on metadata that is usable to provide a hint as insight into memory access, and based on this, use of a translation lookaside buffer is optimized to control which entries are maintained in the queue and manage address translation requests."
