ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,461,787, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (Santa Clara, Calif.).

"Method of task transition between heterogenous processors" was invented by Alexander J. Branover (Boxborough, Mass.), Benjamin Tsien (Santa Clara, Calif.) and Elliot H. Mednick (Boxborough, Mass.).
