ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,340,086, issued on June 24, was assigned to ADVANCED MICRO DEVICES INC. (Santa Clara, Calif.).

"Apparatus and methods for direct co-processor access to prestored file system data in a non-volatile memory system" was invented by Paul Blinzer (Bellevue, Wash.) and David Livingstain Ziman (Austin, Texas).

The co-processor issues a data load request to a request command queue controlled by a non-volatile memory system, that loads a subset of prestored data ...
