ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,367,153, issued on July 22, was assigned to Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (Santa Clara, Calif.).

"Multi-level starvation widget" was invented by Sankaranarayanan Gurumurthy (Austin, Texas) and Anil Harwani (Austin, Texas).
