ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,277,020, issued on April 15, was assigned to Advanced Micro Devices Inc (Santa Clara, Calif.) and ATI Technologies ULC (Markham, Canada).

"Default boost mode state for devices" was invented by Joseph Lee Greathouse (Austin, Texas), Adam Neil Calder Clark (Victoria, Canada) and Stephen Kushnir (Toronto).
