ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,480,224, issued on Nov. 25, was assigned to Advanced Diamond Holdings LLC (Beltsville, Md.).

"Method for forming diamond having a desirable color by chemical vapor deposition comprising growing a doped diamond layer on a single crystal substrate" was invented by John P. Ciraldo (Chicago) and Jonathan Levine-Miles (Chicago).
