ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,359,247, issued on July 15, was assigned to ADOC SSF LLC (South San Francisco, Calif.).

"Methods of performing GUIDE-Seq on primary human T cells" was invented by Xiaoyan Robert Bao (Foster City, Calif.), Kyle Jacoby (Burlingame, Calif.) and William Lu (Oakland, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed herein are methods for identifying the effects, including off target effect, of genomic modification of primary cells. These methods are performed with high accuracy suitable for validating therapeutic T-cell engineering approaches."
