ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,489,953, issued on Dec. 2, was assigned to Adeia Guides Inc. (San Jose, Calif.).

"Systems and methods for leveraging machine learning to enable user-specific real-time information services for identifiable objects within a video stream" was invented by Johan Kolhi (Vaxholm, Sweden), Anthony Friede (Upplands Vasby, Sweden) and Reda Harb (Issaquah, Wash.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A first content type of a first media stream being output is determined, and at least one first classification model is selected based on the first content type. Objects are identified in the first media stream using the at least one first classification model...
