ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,386,184, issued on Aug. 12, was assigned to ADAT Technology Co. Ltd. (Taipei, Taiwan).

"Augmented reality glasses system" was invented by Kai-Hung Su (Tainan, Taiwan) and Tsung-Hung Tsai (Tainan, Taiwan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An augmented reality glasses system includes a head-mounted display device and a back-mounted device. The head-mounted display devices include a see-through display and sensors. The back-mounted device has a power module which is electrically connected to the head-mounted display device. The split design is suitable for long-term use in industrial environments."
