ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,527,324, issued on Jan. 20, was assigned to ADAMA MAKHTESHIM LTD. (Beer Sheva, Israel).

"5-fluoro-4-imino-3-(alkyl/substituted alkyl)-1-(arylsulfonyl)-3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-one as a seed treatment" was invented by Carla J.R. Klittich (Indianapolis), Chenglin Yao (Indianapolis) and W. John Owen (Carmel, Ind.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure relates to the use of a compound of Formula I as a seed treatment to prevent or control plant diseases."
