US Patent Issued to Acushnet on Aug. 5 for "Golf ball components formed from hydroxyurethane compositions" (Massachusetts Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,377,320, issued on Aug. 5, was assigned to Acushnet Co. (Fairhaven, Mass.).

"Golf ball components formed from hydroxyurethane compositions" was invented by Michael Michalewich (Norton, Mass.) and Manjari Kuntimaddi (Raynham, Mass.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Thermoplastic and thermoset compositions including hydroxyurethane linkages, golf ball components formed using such thermoplastic or thermoset compositions, and golf balls including such golf components."

The patent was filed on June 10, 2024, under Application No. 18/738,780.
