ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,285,661, issued on April 29, was assigned to Acushnet Co. (Fairhaven, Mass.).

"Golf club head having supported striking face" was invented by Kyle A. Carr (Carlsbad, Calif.) and Jonathan Hebreo (San Diego).
