ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,303,783, issued on May 20, was assigned to Activision Publishing Inc. (Santa Monica, Calif.).

"Systems and methods for converting a bounded gameplay session to an unbounded gameplay session" was invented by Michael D. Marr (Monroe, Wash.), Keith S. Kaplan (Bothell, Wash.) and Nathan T. Lewis (Woodinville, Wash.).
