US Patent Issued to Acronis International on March 18 for "Policy creation and adjustment methods" (Singaporean, Swiss Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,255,924, issued on March 18, was assigned to Acronis International GmbH (Schaffhausen, Switzerland).

"Policy creation and adjustment methods" was invented by Nickolay Berko (Schaffhausen, Switzerland), Serg Bell (Singapore) and Stanislav Protasov (Singapore).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A system to create Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and adjust DLP policies over time in a computing system using agents running at an endpoint to intercept a data transfer in a network traffic. New data flow/DLP policy rules are created and updated with reference to behavior data of trusted and untrusted users."
