According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A network circuit for providing an intermediate circuit direct voltage and a load-dependent intermediate circuit current at an output from a three-phase supply network is described. The network circuit includes a capacitor in a midpoint network, which serves as an adjustable voltage source for setting a voltage difference across inductors at the input."
