ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,391,030, issued on Aug. 19, was assigned to ACCO BRANDS Corp. (Lake Zurich, Ill.).

"High-speed in-line cold laminating unit" was invented by James R. Newell (Vernon Hills, Ill.), Peter J. Lee (McHenry, Ill.), Benjamin R. Anderson (Buffalo Grove, Ill.) and Peter D. Hotkowski (Chester, Conn.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A high-speed, cold laminating system includes a lamination unit for inline use connected with a paper feeder supplying at least 30 ppm.
