ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,372,534, issued on July 29, was assigned to AB Studio Inc. (Hayward, Calif.).
"Catabodies and methods of use thereof" was invented by Yue Liu (Foster City, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present application provides methods, compositions and kits for determining SHD catabody levels in a biological sample, and for treating or preventing a protein aggregation disease (PAD) in an individual. Also provided are catabodies specifically recognizing amyloid beta (ABeta) peptides and methods of use thereof."
