ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,460,281, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to A.L.M.T. Corp. (Tokyo).

"Tungsten-containing material and direct current discharge lamp electrode" was invented by Hidenobu Nishino (Toyama, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A tungsten-containing material that has an oxygen generation quantity of more than 1 ppm and 20 ppm or less at 2100deg C. to 2300deg C. as detected by oxygen analysis based on an oxygen separation method, and contains 5 ppm or more and 30 ppm or less of potassium."

The patent was filed on April 11, 2023, under Application No. 18/854,332.
