ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,434,082, issued on Oct. 7, was assigned to 3M Innovative Properties Co. (St. Paul, Minn.).

"Personal respiratory protection device" was invented by Garry J. Walker (Stockton-on-Tees, Great Britain) and Christopher P. Henderson (High Shincliffe, Great Britain).
