ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,247,001, issued on March 11, was assigned to 3M Innovative Properties Co. (St. Paul, Minn.).

"Compounds comprising perfluorinated group, photoinitiator group, and amide linking group" was invented by Thomas P. Klun (Lakeland, Minn.), Brandon R. Pietz (St. Paul, Minn.), Paul J. Homnick (Lake Elmo, Minn.), Christopher S. Lyons (St. Paul, Minn.) and Chad M. Amb (Roberts, Wis.).
