US Patent Issued to 3M Innovative Properties on June 17 for "Automatic darkening filter with simplified set-up" (German Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,329,689, issued on June 17, was assigned to 3M Innovative Properties Co. (St. Paul, Minn.).

"Automatic darkening filter with simplified set-up" was invented by Christian A. Ripken (Juchen-Kelzenberg, Germany) and Markus Glocker (Neuss, Germany).
