ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,365,942, issued on July 22, was assigned to 10x Genomics Inc. (Pleasanton, Calif.).

"Methods of decreasing background on a spatial array" was invented by Marlon Stoeckius (Stockholm, Switzerland).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided herein are methods of determining a location of a target analyte in a non-permeabilized biological sample and methods of reducing background binding of an analyte on an array."
