ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,391,975, issued on Aug. 19, was assigned to 10X GENOMICS INC. (Pleasanton, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided herein are methods, compositions, and systems for transposon loading. Transposons are loaded with nucleic acid molecules, allowing for transposition reactions of cellular nucleic acids. The present invention may improve transposon loading, yield of productive fragments, while minimizing potential nucleic acid fragment loss or cross-contamination."
