ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,275,988, issued on April 15, was assigned to 10x Genomics Inc. (Pleasanton, Calif.).
"Methods, compositions, and kits for determining the location of an analyte in a biological sample" was invented by Christina Galonska (Stockholm), Ariel Royall (Castro Valley, Calif.) and Malte Kuhnemund (Stockholm).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided herein are methods, compositions, and kits for the spatial analysis of target nucleic acids, or complements thereof, by their 5' end."
The patent was filed on April 29, 2024, under Application No. 18/649,255.
