US Patent Issued to 10x Genomics on April 15 for "Methods, compositions, and kits for determining the location of an analyte in a biological sample" (Swedish, American Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,275,988, issued on April 15, was assigned to 10x Genomics Inc. (Pleasanton, Calif.).

"Methods, compositions, and kits for determining the location of an analyte in a biological sample" was invented by Christina Galonska (Stockholm), Ariel Royall (Castro Valley, Calif.) and Malte Kuhnemund (Stockholm).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided herein are methods, compositions, and kits for the spatial analysis of target nucleic acids, or complements thereof, by their 5' end."
