ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,409,112, issued on Sept. 9.

"Pressurized nanoemulsion" was invented by Montserrat Foguet (Leverkusen, Germany), Mirella Gwarek (Leverkusen, Germany) and Lars Mollmann (Leverkusen, Germany).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to stabilizing an oil in water nanoemulsion in a pressurized container. The nanovesicles comprised in the nanoemulsion are particularly stable in regard to vesicle size and vesicle size homogeneity after long-term storage at different temperatures."

The patent was filed on Dec. 8, 2023, under Application No. 18/533,521.
