"Drink-locating band" was invented by Mitzi Brown (Doylestown, Pa.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The drink-locating band comprises a locator, a band, and a software application. The locator may detachably couple to a drink container via the band. The locator may be adapted to be activated by a user via the software application executing on a smart phone. Responsive to being activated, the locator may play an audio stream, may illuminate one or more visual indicators, or both in order to annunciate the location of the drink container.
