ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,408,765, issued on Sept. 9.

"Baby sling" was invented by Diana L. Brees (Clarksville, Tenn.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A baby sling is described. The baby sling may include a plurality of rings that are secured to one or more sling bodies. At least one of the sling bodies may include an upper portion, a seam, and left and right panels folded in an accordion-like manner. Methods of using a baby sling are also described."

The patent was filed on June 20, 2023, under Application No. 18/211,639.
