ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,410,637, issued on Sept. 9.
"Anti-theft device for cradle mounted device which removably receives an audio/video device" was invented by Austin M. Fries (Waynesville, Ohio).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An anti-theft device includes a security bracket for a cradle mounted audio/video device having a cradle configured for quickly releasing the audio/video device by actuation of a release."
The patent was filed on June 28, 2023, under Application No. 18/342,801.
