According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A water filter assembly has a body with the neck, a filter received in the interior of the body, a cap threadedly affixed to the neck of the body, and a ring extending around the neck of the body. The ring has a plurality of elements that are engageable with a surface at the edge of the cap so as to prevent rotation of the cap with respect to the body.
