According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A footwear washing assembly for automatically washing a pair of shoes includes a washing box to insertably receive a pair of shoes for washing the pair of shoes. A water reservoir is removably attachable to the washing box to contain water for washing the shoes in the washing box and a detergent reservoir is removably attachable to the washing box to contain detergent for washing the shoes in the washing box.
