According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A boat slip barrier system is disclosed comprising a pivoting barrier arm assembly, a first post assembly with a first vertical post pivotally connected to the barrier arm, and a second post assembly with a second vertical post configured to temporarily hold a distal end of the barrier arm.
