ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,424,341, issued on Sept. 23.

"Nuclear component testing" was invented by Roger X Lenard (Edgewood, N.M.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Devices and systems for testing nuclear components are disclosed. An outer shell and inner shell containing a nuclear test component are fed with a test gas which is heated by nuclear reactions. A second gas is fed into the gas outlet to cool the test gas."

The patent was filed on July 3, 2023, under Application No. 18/217,869.
