ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,403,842, issued on Sept. 2.

"Multi-sport rack that is reversibly attachable to a pickup truck bed with a bed shell, bed cap, or tonneau cover" was invented by Russell Sutliff (Granite Bay, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A pickup truck rack or a multi-sport rack for a pickup truck that is reversibly attachable to the bed of a pickup truck that also has a bed shell, bed cap, or tonneau cover installed thereon.
