"Fan blade cleaning device" was invented by Heather Evans (Canton, Ga.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to a novel fan blade cleaning device. The device is a no mess, no ladder cleaning device that easily and safely cleans ceiling fan blades and traps dust in one motion. The device comprises a blade component that encloses a ceiling fan blade and a finger duster component secured to the opening of the blade component for dusting. The blade component and the finger duster component are then both secured to a telescoping pole component which can be extended to various heights."
