ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,416,465, issued on Sept. 16.
"Magazine and adaptor for paintball marker" was invented by Robert Scott Campbell (St. Louis).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A magazine and a magazine adaptor are described for use with a paintball marker. The paintball marker may include paintball guns and other paintball weapons. The magazine holds paintballs loose in an interior of the magazine for storage, transportation, etc. When the magazine is engaged to the magazine adaptor, a spring-loaded follower places tension on the paintballs.
