ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,433,433, issued on Oct. 7.
"Weighted body pillow" was invented by Riley Jaye (San Diego).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A weighted body pillow comprises a pillow casing; a weighted core within the pillow casing, wherein the weighted body pillow is configured to be cradled between a user's arms and legs while sleeping on the user's side, ensuring proper spinal alignment."
The patent was filed on Sept. 15, 2023, under Application No. 18/369,062.
