According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A toppling domino is disclosed, featuring a rectangular front and rear face with rounded edges and a tapered side profile-such as trapezoidal, triangular, or wedge-shaped-to enhance balance and reduce unintended tipping. The base is wider and heavier than the top, with an optional internal weight positioned near the base to lower the center of gravity.
