"Surfing board" was invented by Carlos Echecopar Mongilardi (Lima, Germany).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An improved surfing board including a stringer assembly placed along the body of a surfboard assembly which includes a contracted vinyl lining assembly. The stringer assembly includes a pair of stringer members made of aluminum that are joined by a fiberglass and/or carbon fiber material at each bottom portion thereof defining an H-shaped body.
