ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,449,220, issued on Oct. 21.
"Suppressor cover for rifle" was invented by Michael Curtis Russell (Graham, Wash.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A suppressor cover for a rifle has a first panel and a second panel that combine to form a tube, and a collar configured to wrap around the forward end of the tube. The panels have locking tabs configured to mate with corresponding rail slots on the rifle's handguard. The panels may have air vents."
The patent was filed on Oct. 29, 2024, under Application No. 18/930,916.
