ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,448,074, issued on Oct. 21.
"Motorcycle chain oiling tool for aerosol lubrication" was invented by William Ferrell McCollough (Laurel, Md.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure provides systems, devices and methods for using an oiling tool that allows the mechanic to apply a stream of atomized spray of oil to the top of the inner links of a motorcycle chain and on both sides as the chain is turned along with the motorcycle wheel."
The patent was filed on Dec. 20, 2023, under Application No. 18/391,259.
