ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. PP37,015, issued on Oct. 14.
"Taxodium plant named 'TAMTF'" was invented by Dwayne Moon (Washington, Ga.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new and distinct Taxodium ascendens cultivar named 'TAMTF' is disclosed, characterized by a growth habit with a central leader and uniform, uncongested scaffolding of branches. Foliage is dark green foliage. Fall foliage color is greyed-orange. Growth rate is moderate. The new cultivar is a Taxodium, suitable for outdoor horticultural purposes."
The patent was filed on March 20, 2025, under Application No. 19/085,360.
